When non-smoker Matt was diagnosed with advanced non-small cell lung cancer in 2009, his doctors said the odds of him living five years were less than five percent.
Six years after that diagnosis, Matt’s living a happy, active life, controlling his disease thanks to new, targeted gene therapies and other innovations in cancer medicine. In 2015, Matt’s outlived his original diagnosis. And he’s out living – running marathons, riding in cycling competition and exploring the world with his family.
